Sarris crisis at Stamford Bridge deepened on Monday night as they, the FA Cup holders, were knocked out at the fifth round stage by United.Supporters turned on their boss in another bleak evening at the Bridge, with the boss again coming under fire for his poor replacements.Boos rang out when Sarri signalled for his now customary substitution of Mateo Kovacic with Ross Barkley, while fans were also fuming when the likes of Olivier Giroud and Callum Hudson-Odoi were left on the bench.Chants of f**k Sarri-ball and you dont know what youre doing were heard from the home stands, and when United supporters sung you’re getting sacked in the morning, some Chelsea fans even joined in.

Sarris signature style of play was meant to being excitement back to Stamford Bridge, but instead all it has brought is more misery. And former Chelsea centre-back Melchiot, who won the FA Cup in 2000, could not understand the managers decisions. Of course everybody is going to jump on the substitutions he made, because you cant do that, the Dutchman told Tuesdays Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast.Youre losing the game and you bring on a full-back for a full-back? He needed to make a change and bring on a more attacking minded player.Do you want to win the game? Its the FA Cup and youve only got this game, and theres only 15 minutes left!Hes got to be more critical in his decision making and say, Ive got to show everyone that I really will do everything to win this game, but at that point he went safe and playing safe is not going to get you anything.Sarri is very stubborn, everybody knows that.Is Maurizio Sarri’s time up at Chelsea?2
Is Maurizio Sarri’s time up at Chelsea?
He has this way of playing and I think everybody should be stubborn when youre a manager, but you also have to have common sense and be logical about what works and what doesnt work. This is the FA Cup, its arguably one of the biggest cups in the world and it was their trophy, but they arent going to win any other trophies this season now.Yes, theyre in the EFL Cup final, but theyre playing against Manchester City.He needed to push it all the way to the max in this game. He needed to put Olivier Giroud on and let him and Gonzalo Higuain go up in the last couple of minutes and have Eden Hazard closer to them, or any other player who could score them a goal, but he did not do that.

This was the 2012-13 home kit, which is quite nice IMO. But how do you feel about the Cyan color? Not the person you are responding to but I like it. A bit more modern, cooler look instead of the traditional/classy black or blue. Maybe not as amazing as the gold in 2011-12 or the silver last season, but still quite good.
