There was no open-top bus tour, but there was a ton of fireworks and Oasis blearing out of the speakers, as thousands of supporters gathered in wild celebrations after beating Liverpool in one of the tightest title races ever.City needed a 14-game winning run to beat Liverpool on the final day of the season.The latest win came at Brighton in a thrilling finale, with City recovering from a scare to beat the Seagulls 4-1 to seal a second straight title.Glenn Murray gave Brighton an unlikely lead at the Amex Stadium, but that lasted only 83 seconds as Sergio Aguero who else? popped with a quick equaliser.Aguero poses with the trophy8

And City never looked back, with Aymeric Laporte, Riyad Mahrez and Ilkay Gundogan completing a comfortable win which was needed after Liverpool beat Wolves to finish just one point behind as runners-up.Only a few thousand supporters were there to celebrate with their team as they lifted the trophy in Brighton, so the Etihad was absolutely packed when the team arrived home.And the City fans went absolutely mad when their very own ‘Rock N Roll star’ Vincent Kompany lifted the famous trophy again.
