However, rather than focus on the teams effort, all eyes were on Mourinho following the game after his over-the-top celebration of the goal, as he picked up a cage full of water bottles and hurled it to the floor.Uniteds display – which saw them spurn a number of great goalscoring chances – was slammed by pundits, with club legends Rio Ferdinand and Paul Scholes particularly scathing, while Gary Lineker fumed at Mourinhos frustrated reaction to an early Marcus Rashford miss.4

I would invite that people to sit on the bench as managers.“But I think maybe it’s better to have lots of holidays in Barbados and go to the television screen and touch the electronic dummies.4

Scholes has been a vocal critic of Mourinho this season

“I think it’s much, much, much more comfortable than being on the touchline like we managers we are.“I am pretty sure that a proper football manager would never criticise another one for emotional reactions on the touchline because it’s deja vu for them.“For the ones that have a nice life, it’s different.”
