Arsenal news: Sven Mislintat may leave role as head of recruitment after just one year in job

Mislinat previously spent ten years at Borussia Dortmund where he was credited with unearthing a host of top talent, including RobertLewandowski, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Shinji Kagawa and Ousmane Dembele.But, according to The Sun, Mislinat’s time at Arsenal has been rocked by a series of disagreements with staff and he is now poised to exit his role.Scouts are said to have been unimpressed by the players they have been asked to get reports on and were baffled when a meeting was scheduled for a Saturday,when talent-spotters were expected to be at games.Unai Emery, who replaced Wenger as manager in the summer, is also claimed to have taken a more active role ontransfers.There has been huge change at the north London club over the past 12 months, with Arsene Wenger departing as manager and chief executive Ivan Gazidis following him out the door.It now seems there could be another high-profile departure at the Emirates.
