And according to Sky Sports News, the next chapter in Cech’s career will see him make a return to Stamford Bridge. However, Cech has taken to Twitter to say he will make his decision after the season finishes. He said: “Despite the news today as I had already said to everybody before, Ill make decision about my future after the last game.“Now my sole focus is to win the EL [Europa League] with Arsenal.”He could replace Michael Emenalo, who left his role as Chelsea’s technical director in November 2017 to join Monaco. The Czech international’s final appearance as a player incidentally could be against former club Chelsea in the Europa League final on May 29.He has started ten of Arsenal’s 14 games in the competition but it’s not clear if manager Unai Emery will revert to No.1 Bernd Leno or stick with Cech for the final in Baku. Emery said: “All is positive. I have only known him this year.“His experience is vast in football, he is here because he has done [great] service.“His commitment is large. I want to enjoy with him. I am a privileged coach to be with him. We are going to do all we can to win.“I believe in him, I can use him or I can use Leno but above all, I want to enjoy special moments with players.”Emery has yet to confirm whether he’ll give the nod to Cech or Leno in BakuGetty2
